(Editor's note: In the early evening hours of Friday, December 29th, a building in Rock Falls, formerly known as the Reliant factory caught fire. Flames roared until firefighters "knocked it down" around 4 A.M. but even then, flames were still visible. 14 fire departments assisted with the blaze--almost 100 personel. As of this writing (01.01,) there are still some hot spots. The cause is yet undetermined. Fortunately, we're told, no one was injured. These shots provided by our buddy Dispatcher)
