1 Robert McCLELLAN (1716-8/24/1789) m. 1754 Nicholes (Nicola) GORDON (1730-1799)
He was born in Kirkcudbright, Scotland. They made their home in Micklemox,
Parish of Butte until June 1774, when they emigrated to Springfield, VT by
way of Dublin, New York City, Albany, Manchester, and Brumley.
Vermont declared itself independent in 1777.
In 1784 they moved again to what is now Hebron, New York.
He died in Salem and is buried in the Revolutionary War Cemetery there.
She is buried in the old cemetery in Cambridge.

William was born in the town of Micklenox and in the year 1769 moved to the
Newtown in the Parish of Twenholm in the Stewartry of Galloway, Scotland,
North Britain near Kirkcudbright. He came to America with his parents and
siblings in 1774 on the ship Goldenrule. Buried in New Hebron Cemetery, NY
