Not everyone is aware that Essex is actually 4 companies located all in one store; Essex Computers, Internet Services, Essex Teliplex and Essex Telcom. When calling our office, the automated telephone system can sometimes be confusing when deciding what menu choice you need. If you need help with your Internet or your computer, select "Technical Support". For pricing questions with product sales or Internet costs, select "Sales". For all billing questions or concerns, select "Billing". Now that wasn't so bad. BUT, if you still aren't sure, select "O" and the operator can direct your call. This addition was implemented because we listened to your feedback - Thanks.

REMINDER NOTE: For your convenience, you may make your account changes using the ACCOUNT MANAGER located on the Essex HOME page or Account Manager Link If you wish to cancel your Internet Service beginning November 1st, you must notify the Internet Services Billing Department at (815) 380-BILL(2455) by October 31st, 2003. You CAN NOT cancel your account through e-mail. WHEN ARE YOU GONNA GET ON? Many of the Sauk Valley communities are a little further out and do not have a convenient local location for signup. Well, we don't want anyone to be left out so we have a new program available. We are beginning to distribute CD display racks (see below) that permit your friends and family members to go to a local establishment and pick up a FREE setup CD to get you on the Internet immediately. Take the FREE CD home and put it in your computer, it will start up automatically. If you are a new customer wanting to signup, select option 1 - "Signup for a New Account". Complete the form, enter your credit/debit card number and in minutes, you can be surfing the Internet. Within hours, your e-mail account will also be created for you. Many are asking why they still get so much SPAM. We filter much of your spam but the spammers are always finding new ways to beat the system. The future looks bright though! New technology has been successful in capturing close to 100% of the spam messages during their testing phase. We hope to see the finished product soon - keep your fingers crossed. | |||||
